2026 Graduation Parent Letter

Dear Senior Parent or Guardian:
The Southwest High School graduation is quickly approaching. This letter informs the parents/guardians and graduates of the graduation guidelines and the consequences of not following them. Graduation is June 3, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. Gates to the Football Field, Bleachers, and Theater will open at 7:00 p.m. Please see the attachment for the complete guidelines.

Estimado padre, madre o tutor de último año:

La graduación de Southwest High School se acerca rápidamente. Esta carta tiene como propósito informar a los padres/tutores y graduados sobre las reglas de graduación y las consecuencias de no seguirlas. La graduación será el 3 de junio de 2026 a las 8:00 p.m. Las puertas del campo de fútbol, las gradas y el teatro abrirán a las 7:00 p.m. Por favor, consulte el documento adjunto para conocer las reglas completas.

Free Summer Meals

A colorful flyer announces free summer meals at Central Union High School.

Free Breakfast and Lunch Meals to Children, 18 and Younger starting Tuesday, June 9, 2026 through July, 8, 2026. Children do not need to be enrolled in summer school to enjoy a hot, delicious, nutritious meal. Meals must be eaten on site, no meals may go home. 

 

 

2026 Summer School

This year’s CUHSD Summer Session will provide an opportunity for students to recover credits OR improve a grade of a D to meet A-G Requirements in order for them to get back on track towards graduation.  NOTE: Currently we are not planning on providing Edgenuity classes during Summer.

DATES: June 9 through July 8, 2026

 Monday – Friday

SESSIONS: 8:00 – 11:10 AM & 11:50 to 3:00 PM

LOCATION: Central Union High School

All Summer Session 2026 classes will be in-person at Central for CUHS, DOHS, PRHS, and SHS students. 

* Students eligible to attend summer school need to make an appointment with their school counselor
